Hapur/Meerut/Bulandshahr/Ghaziabad :Continuing his whirlwind campaign for the second phase of the civic body elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held rallies in favor of Bharatiya Janata Party candidates in Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahr and Ghaziabad on Friday.

During the rallies, he enumerated the work done by the state government in every district and also criticised the appeasement policy of the opposition parties. The CM said that while “they” (opposition parties) granted benefits of the schemes based on caste and religion, we only did so on the basis of eligibility.

‘Parivarvadi’ and ‘Tamanchavadi’ elements are not amused by the dev of the state, Yogi takes a dig at opposition

The development of Jewar International Airport close to Hapur will enhance connectivity and boost the local economy, said the CM while addressing a public meeting in Hapur.

“Hapur has its own identity and unique products, such as the Hapur Papad. The current government has taken steps to recognize and promote Hapur’s identity at the global level, whereas the previous government neglected it.”

The CM also mentioned that the country’s first rapid train would connect Delhi to Ghaziabad via Hapur and Meerut. On the other hand, the Ganga Expressway linking Meerut to Prayagaraj via Hapur is a significant development for the region. These projects will improve connectivity, reduce travel time, and potentially boost economic growth and development in the area. This is the identity of the new Uttar Pradesh.

In an attack on the opposition parties, the chief minister said that the ‘Parivarvadi’ and ‘Tamanchavadi’ elements are not amused by the development of the state. The youth used to hide his identity six years ago, but today he proudly states that he is a citizen of Uttar Pradesh. Today, Uttar Pradesh can feed the whole country.

Your vote will start a new revolution of good governance, nationalism, and development: Yogi Adityanath

Referring to the infamous Sotiganj Market of Meerut, which specialised in dismantling stolen cars and selling its parts, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “The SP, BSP, Lok Dal, and Congress had tarnished the image of Sotiganj , but our government has now restored it. Today there is peace and harmony in Meerut, he added.

The CM said, “May 10 is celebrated as ‘Kranti Diwas’ as India’s First War of Independence triggered from Meerut on May 10, 1857. You have to participate in the municipal elections on May 11. A new revolution can be started with just one vote from you. This revolution will be of good governance, development, and nationalism.”

Launching an attack on the SP-Lok Dal alliance, the Chief Minister said, “The SP-Lok Dal alliance is ‘anarchist’ and ‘opportunistic.’ They are having problems as we work to eradicate anarchy.”

The chief minister said that Meerut would have advanced with a new aura if the BJP board had been established in 2017.

He added that today Meerut and UP are passing through a new phase of development. The CM emphasised that the sports goods of Meerut are getting global recognition through the ODOP scheme. People are getting employment here, and the district is gaining a new identity.

He further added that before 2017, Sotiganj was the identity of SP-BSP and Lok Dal. Now ODOP is the identity of Meerut. State’s first sports university is going to be established in Meerut. In the first war of Independence, the flame of revolution was ignited under the leadership of Kotwal Dhan Singh Gurjar. The result of that was that the country became independent in 1947. We have given a modern look to the police training school here and named it after Dhan Singh.

SP, BSP and Lok Dal are anarchist parties: CM Yogi

In Bulandshahr, the CM launched a scathing attack on the SP, BSP, and Lok Dal by labeling them as ‘opportunistic’ and ‘anarchist’ parties. He said that these parties caused riots, adding, “In the six years of the double-engine government, there were no riots at all.”

The Chief Minister said, “Today, the Kanwar Yatra is organized in a grand way in the state. Our cities are now being seen as smart cities rather than garbage dumps.”

Stating that Bulandshahr is known for its historical background in the freedom movement, the CM added, “Today, this district’s pottery sector has established its own identity on the global stage. The double engine government is building a medical college in Bulandshahr in the name of Kalyan Singh ji.”

Targeting the opposition parties, he further said that they turned the state into heaps of garbage and handed guns to the youth, whereas we are developing smart and safe cities, giving tablets to our youth, and linking them with technology and training.

When ‘parivarvadis’ gain power, they become ‘tamanchavadis’: Yogi Adityanath

Launching a scathing attack on the opposition parties in Ghaziabad, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the SP, BSP as ‘opportunists’ and ‘anarchists,’ and said that whenever ‘parivarvadis’ gain power, they become ‘tamanchavadis’.

He asserted that, prior to 2017, no one was unaware of the situation in Ghaziabad and Western UP. Daughters were frightened to go to school, and women were unable to go to the markets. There used to be terror of criminals in cities, and extortion of traders was rampant. The situation has changed today.

He continued by saying that there was an atmosphere of anarchy during the rule of the SP and BSP. Some used to spend money on Haj House and some on graveyards. We have built Mansarovar Bhavan in Ghaziabad. The construction work of Purvanchal and Uttarakhand Bhawan in Ghaziabad is also going on at a fast pace.

The Chief Minister said that there had not previously been any desire to visit Ghaziabad. There was dirt all over the place. There was no assurance that anyone would leave the house and come back safely.

“Today, Ghaziabad has earned the top spot in the nation in the Swachh Bharat Mission. Today, Ghaziabad is not a pile of filth but a smart city. It is moving towards becoming a safe city. Here, the Police Commissionerate system has been implemented under the Police Reforms,” he stated.
