CM Yogi offers prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Dham on the first Monday of Shravan

Varanasi, July 22: On the first Monday of Shravan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Varanasi and offered prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
Inside Baba’s sanctum sanctorum, he performed the Shodashopachar puja, praying for the welfare of the people. Before this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham Anna Seva Van from the temple premises. The five vans will deliver food prepared in the temple’s canteen to hospitals and Sanskrit schools.
Additionally, CM Yogi Adityanath worshipped Baba Kalbhairav, the Kotwal of Kashi, seeking his blessings. This was the Chief Minister’s first visit to Kashi for darshan and puja after the Lok Sabha elections.
During the darshan-puja, state government ministers Dayashankar Singh, Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, Ravindra Jaiswal, Legislative Council member Hansraj Vishwakarma, etc. were present.
Upon arriving at the Baba Vishwanath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the devotees who had come for Jalabhishek. In response to his presence, the devotees chanted “Har Har Mahadev.”
During his one-day tour of Varanasi on Monday, CM Yogi Adityanath instructed the temple administration, district officials, and police to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience throughout the month of Shravan. He emphasized that all necessary facilities should be provided for the devotees.
